My GuestHouse is situated in the heart of Lucca, just a short walk from the city’s renowned ancient walls, which are among the best-preserved Renassaince fortifications in Europe, and only one hundred meters from “Piazza Anfiteatro,” one of Italy’s most iconic squares, and the beautiful basilica of “San Frediano“, topped by its splendid golden mosaic. The premises are located on the top floors of a historical building overlooking “Via Fillungo“, the city’s main street, and offers an enchanting view of Lucca’s characteristic rooftops, medieval towers and steeples.

At My GuestHouse every room is designed to offer our guests a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail is important to us and reflects our passion for design and culture: from the Louis Ghost chairs by Kartell around the dining table, through the early 19th-century floor patterned by exquisite hand made tiles, to the 17th-century Carrara marble fireplace. Some of the best interior design firms have been chosen for the decorations. Expect an environment that blends tasteful antique original building materials and furniture with modern pieces of Art and Italian Design. The spaces are very airy and bright and spread over two floors, with a total of 6 rooms, with two fully equipped modern kitchens, a large common area consisting of a spacious hall, where our scarlet blue sofa by Cassina in front of the fireplace is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or read a book during the winter period.

On a romantic balcony or on the larger terrace, decorated with lemon trees and other Mediterranean plants, guests can relax and enjoy beautiful views across the city’s red-roof tops, steeples and towers, while they experience regional colors and aromas. These are truly unique shared spaces for relaxing moments, to enjoy invigorating breakfasts and joyful aperitifs or simply to relax and admire the beautiful city from a high perspective, lulled by the cool summer evening breeze.

In addition My GuestHouse offers a true Finnish Sauna and a dedicated Thai Massage Area, as optional services upon request. At My GuestHouse guests can count on an informal and relaxed atmosphere, with owners Montira and Mirko always happy to offer suggestions and advices, to make their stay in Lucca a truly memorable experience.

At my GuestHouse you will have the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of a real Finnish Sauna, a traditional experience of the Scandinavian Countries, where dry heat is used to purify body and mind. The cedar wood cabin, warm and comfortable, is an unique place to regenerate after a day full of activities and to enjoy a deep wellbeing. After the hot Sauna experience you can refresh under the nearby cold shower, to stimulate blood circulation and tone up your entire body.
